The Easy Way to Tackle Stubborn Fat — truSculpt 3D

If you’re struggling with pockets of stubborn fat that don’t budge no matter how much you exercise or watch what you eat, it’s time to tackle stubborn fat the easy way with truSculpt 3DⓇ.

At Alpenglow Gynecology, we want you to enjoy all the benefits a healthy lifestyle brings in the body you’ve worked hard to achieve. If you struggle with stubborn body fat despite healthy habits, you need to know about truSculpt 3D and how Rickie Guida, WHNP-BC and our team in Littleton, Colorado can help you.

What is truSculpt 3D?

TruSculpt 3D is a noninvasive, nonsurgical procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to heat and break apart fat cells in areas where stubborn fat usually clings, like under your chin, thighs, buttocks, and abdomen.

Unlike with diet and exercise, which shrinks fat cells, with truSculpt 3D your stubborn fat is permanently destroyed. Your body removes the destroyed cells through it’s natural waste-removal processes.

The truSculpt device offers the best in fat-blasting technology. By using an energy frequency that penetrates more deeply than similar fat-reduction treatments, you get better results.

How does truSculpt 3D work?

During your treatment, your provider uses a hand-held radiofrequency wand to break down fat cells in the targeted areas. In addition to breaking down fat, the radiofrequency waves also stimulate your body to produce more collagen, a protein that promotes elasticity in your skin.

Treatment sessions take between 15-45 minutes, depending on the size of the areas receiving treatment. After your truSculpt 3D session, your body works to remove the destroyed cells through the waste-removing lymphatic system.

After your treatment, your body produces more collagen and elastin over time. This creates smoother-looking skin and minimizes any dimpling. As such, truSculpt 3D reshapes the surface of your skin and improves definition in hard-to-tone areas.

Is truSculpt effective?

Yes! In as little as one treatment, the truSculpt 3D system has helped patients achieve up to a 24% reduction of fat cells. With truSculpt 3D, there are no needles or surgical procedures involved. You can return to your normal daily activities right after your session. And if you want to improve your results, you can schedule a follow-up treatment as desired.

Will I experience any discomfort during my treatment?

TruSculpt 3D is noninvasive, requiring no anesthesia or pain medication during treatment. The temperature of your skin will get warmer during your session, but you won’t feel any discomfort. In fact, many of our patients compare the experience to a hot stone massage.

What can I expect after treatment?

One of the benefits of treatment with truSculpt 3D  is that there’s no downtime. After the procedure, you might notice your skin looks flushed, but this typically resolves in about an hour. You can return to your normal activities immediately, and since the treatment takes less than an hour, many of our patients schedule during their lunch break.

You’ll start to see results as your body flushes out the destroyed fat cells over the weeks following the procedure. You can expect noticeable results after 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the treatment area, and optimal results in about 12 weeks.

Depending on the amount of fat you’d like to tackle and the number of treatment areas, you might need more than one treatment session. Our care team creates a customized treatment plan to address all of your needs.
